It’s That Time of Year Again…
Summer is here, and for those with travel trailers,
you know it’s time to start heading up north to find the best Michigan campgrounds
for the perfect relaxing, weekend getaway. If you’re having some trouble
deciding where to go, here are a few suggestions.

lake lives up to its name, offering 133 acres of crystal clear water for
swimming, and a 300’ sandy beach.
4.
Tahquamenon
Falls State Park- If you’re adventurous
enough to venture up to the U.P., the falls are a legendary and gorgeous staple
of Michigan, surrounded by nothing but pure wilderness and the breezy solitude
of nature.
3. Otsego Lake State Park- One of the cozier campgrounds around, Otsego Lake
is the perfect place for fishing, nature trails and relaxing in the spacey and
shady campsites as well.
2. South
Higgins Lake State Park-
With almost a mile of shoreline, customized campsites and plenty of trails for hiking,
Higgins Lake is one of the best family friendly campgrounds, complete with

and marshlands, as well as the famous Big Sable Point Lighthouse, and completed
with the scenic sand dunes located along the Lake Michigan beaches.
