Tips for School Safety
It's after Labor Day so you know what that means? Time to wake up and get those brain juices flowing, it is time for school! School also means there are a lot of people walking about who you won't know. Here are some tips to make sure your children are as safe as possible this school year.

- Ask how your children if anything is bothering them in school whether its bullies or bad grades.
- Watch your children's internet use.
- Map out a route to get to and from school or to their designated bus stop, avoid vacant lots, construction, and parks with few to no people.
- Remind your kids about Stranger Danger.
- Help your kids memorize their home address, phone numbers and zip code in case of emergency.
- Have your children arrive at the bus stop a couple minutes before the bus arrives.
- Stand on the sidewalk while waiting for the school bus.
